I assume you are referring to Web Browser bookmarks. Most browsers have an export\import function in the part used for managing bookmarks. Some more info would be helpful

Are you talking about browser bookmarks? If so, of your you can. They're simply text. You can even copy all of them over at once. Is this what you're asking about? A little more info about what you're trying to do would help.

Assuming you need to move your bookmarks around regularly, here's a solution that I wrote a few years back. My wife and I use it to have our bookmarks follow us around to work, school and home. http://www.catherders.com/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=2 Mike- -- If you're not confused, you're not trying hard enough. -- Please note - Due to the intense volume of spam, we have installed site-wide spam filters at catherders.com. Hi Oliver, If you export your bookmarks/favorites to "vinces-bookmarks.html", you can publish the document wherever you've got write access: on the Internet... to a shared directory on a LAN... to a shared directory on a multi-boot machine. You then create bookmarks in every browser, as needed, pointing to that one file. This is better than importing them into and synchronizing multiple browsers on multiple machines, btw, since you're only maintaining one copy of one document. I go one step further... my shared bookmarks file is set as the Start Page in every browser that I use. I keep the sites that I go to most frequently at the top. That way, I don't even have to open a 'bookmarks' menu and scroll, I just open the browser and click. Maintaining it is easy, too. All it takes is a text editor. hth & regards, - Carl
Ah, is that what the 'New Live Bookmark' feature does in Firefox?

I honestly don't know... I've been maintaining locally shared bookmarks in the simple fashion I described for a very long time... I'll have to take a look at this new feature. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! - Carl
