it's on the dvd, but not on the live cd. the live cd forces kde4 on you with no option for the kde3 desktop. i downloaded the kde3 "unofficial" v11 and i'm up and running. i've got some hardware to replace on this computer i inherited, but this kde3 v11 hums right along.

not bad for old hardware.

Should run fine! I have an old Dell Dimension 4100 (I think that is a P3-800 with 384M of ram (Same Rage pro 128 AGP) and 11.0 runs fine, xfce and icewm are also great desktops for older hardware.
