In order to run KDE 4 I downloaded Qt 1.33 from Troll (basic + devel. binaries in RPM format). Using YAST I deinstalled Qt1.1 and installed the 1.33 package. Apparently everything was OK but KDE was unable to run (even KDE 3); it claimed could not find bsh. It seems that the Troll RPM doesn't uses the same directories as SuSE distribution does. Is there a SuSE package of Qt 1.33 ready for YAST and SuSE topology... ?
SuSE has rpms of the QT libraries and kde beta 4 on their ftp site. I think that they were under updates. The QT libraries were in the same directory as the KDE stuff. However, bsh is a shell. You might want to make sure that it is installed. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
