Re: Re: [SLE] Problem with k3b - help asked
What version are you using? On what version of SuSE? The one shipped with 9.0 is not working properly, you can upgrade by using the packman rpm available here:
http://packman.links2linux.org/download.php?t=b&id=4266
I am using k3b-0.11.9-0 on SuSE 9.0, and burning dvd's is no size limit - I mean, within 4.7 gb :-) (I use DVD-R).
I also have had n/p burning *.iso up to the size of the current dvd blanks, anyway. IIRC "YOU" updated k3b the last install I did. But if it doesn't ,you should get the packman files referenced above. Also, it wouldn't hurt to go to whatever location (url) that is the home of k3b...email the creators, tell about your problems, things you'd like added, changed etc.

I have k3v-0.11.9-0 too but I solved the problem after a lot of googling: Maybe I forgot to say that I have SuSe-8.2 now. What I did: 1) Install scsi emulation 2) Set U-DMA to "no" in Yast2 And I can burn up to 3.8Gb now (and more of course).
