Hello, Installing SuSE 9.0 on a Gateway 920 succeeds only up to the 'hardware detection' phase during which the system crashes and requires a cold-boot. Upon reboot the system works but various elements remain unconfigured, like keyboard language (was set to 'de', so none of my accounts logged in, originally thought it was an NIS problem!) in /etc/X11/xkbd. I do not know how much of the rest of my system remains unconfigured, but I do know that if I try to use YaST to go to the 'Graphics Card' module my system freezes again. I believe the 920 has a ServerWorks chipset with onboard ATI Rage XL video. I know the 920 series was certified for 8.x, however perhaps it is no longer compatible with 9.0? Help! Thanks, Stephan
