I have GNU enscript 1.5.5-47 (SuSE 6.1). If I don't wait until one job finishes, subsequent jobs are garbled and/or slide off the page to the right (2-up printing in landscape mode) and onto the next page. This doesn't seem to happen with any other printing. Anyone have this experience or know of a fix? If you're using the SuSE-provides printer filter apsfilter, there's something missing from it: the ability to issue a (possibly printer-specific) reset command before and/or after a print job. I actually made some mods to apsfilter to solve that very same problem, and have sent them to SuSE. I have no idea if anyone there has paid attention, though: ``feedback@suse.de'' is definitely one-way.
