Hi folks, Does anyone have any recommendations for good Websites to get a bit more detailed information than the SuSe manual? I'm running Gnome on Suse 10 and have only dabbled with Linux in the past. I really want to take the plunge now - trying to break away from MS Windows :-) Alan

Alan. May I ask which manual you refer to? Is it the one that comes with SuSE 10? Or have you tried the two manuals that are available as pdf files also on the DVD? -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Xmas may be over but, PLEASE DON'T drink and drive you'll make it to the next one that way. Should have mentioned in my other post, I assume from your e-mail address that you are in the UK? If so whereabouts are you? Have you joined your local LUG? They are a mine of information usually. -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Xmas may be over but, PLEASE DON'T drink and drive you'll make it to the next one that way. You'll find a lot of information is available on disk. Try /usr/share/doc for a start, and try "locate doc" without the quotes in a shell. If you haven't installed all of the documentation you can look into Yast opt for software management, and do a search for packages with documentation, and install those that look interesting. IIRC LDP is on the disk, if not it's available on the web by searching. LPD = Linux documentation Project, it's got a lot of things to read, includes some how-to's as well.
