What environment variable GNOMEDIR set for on Gnome2.0/SuSE8.2 .
Hi all, I've used Gnome2.0/RH8.0 before, and the mime-info directories are located at: /usr/share/mime-info and ~/.gnome/mime-info. While I use Gnome2.0/SuSE8.2, the Gnome directory structures are different from that on RH8.0. The mime-info directories now locate at: /opt/gnome2/share/mime-info and ~/.gnome/mime-info. Seems that the environment variable GNOMEDIR points to the top-level dir(/opt/gnome2) by default. Could anybody verify it, so that I could refer to this variable for the current top-level dir for subdirectory mime-info ? On the other hand, support this variable is not set or unset, which will be the default top-level for the mime-info subdirectory ? Thanks -George.
