Have a look at the output of above 'rpm' command. The history that is available under "Extras" is not as useful, IMO, esp. it does not show any packages you installed/removed directly with rpm (which I often do, a 'rpm -e foo' is much faster than 'zypper rm foo'
Okay thanks but what is the difference between 'zypper' and 'rpm'? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Rpm is rather like a GM drive train (engine, transmission, wheels, axles). Zypper is like a body (sheet metal, controls, seats, stereo, trunk) wrapped around the drive train (e.g. Chevrolet) that enables the drive train to be both friendly and useful. There are other bodies for Rpm, such as Yum (e.g. Buick) and Urpmi (e.g. Cadillac). -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
