no controller found?
Using SuSE 8.2 Cannot access floppy Have read with interest the thread on mounting floppy... no help Went to Yast and tried that way and was told: "No configurable controllor found" All my drives are working except the floppy. What happens if you run, as root on a command line: mkdosfs /dev/fd0

What happens if you run, as root on a command line:
mkdosfs /dev/fd0
