[S.u.S.E. Linux] A nice menu alternative - TkDesk
Hi all- Been kinda busy lately with database chores but wanted to tell some of the people out there that may be looking for a nice menu bar that has great functionality not to forget tkdesk!! It provides a really nice and customizable menu bar, file manager, command line extensions, lotsa stuff. The fourth beta comes with SuSE and the fifth can be downloaded from redhat's ftp site and applied with no problems. I have tkdesk starting each time I begin an X Window session with a minimized file manager starting of my home directory. tkdesk remembers what components of its are running when you shut down. Also... If you are looking for an advanced emai client I would suggest checking out xfmail. I settled on this awhile ago but decided to play around with procmail stuff; xfmail includes rather nice rules based mail handling BTW. You can find a pointer to xfmail at www.xnet.com/~blatura/linapps.shtml as well as a bunch of other great stuff. --Michael Perry-- mperry@basin.com -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
