How do you install a service pack with a GUI?
I need to upgrade a number of SuSE 9 systems with SP2 and would prefer to script it vs. having to run a GUI on each. Anyone know how? I can't do auto-updates as I'm in an Engineering lab where we have to stick with a certain set of updates/ServicePacks.

What SuSE system are you running that uses service packs? Never heard of SP2.

I believe that would be SLES that uses service packs. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998

The best way to do this would be to use ZENworks Linux Management.[1] 1. http://www.novell.com/img/flash/load_stream.html?temp=1&id=webex_converts&stream=linux_managment&w=640&h=520 -- Cheers, Trey ---- Do not sleep in a eucalyptus tree tonight.
