Hi,
I am trying to compile kuickshow for 15.1, but I fail. Here's the complete output of my rpmbuild command:
The problem is probably:
make[2]: *** No rule to make target '/usr/lib64/libImlib.so', needed by 'lib/ libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so'. Stop.
This should be fixed by installing imlib and imlib-devel packages -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Both are installed. /usr/lib64/libImlib.so is there I can't find "lib/libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so" -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Málaga https://www.patreon.com/danielbauer https://www.daniel-bauer.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

No, he did: rpmbuild -bc /usr/src/packages/SPECS/kuickshow.spec -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)

I may just be confused, but if the rebuild of kwickshow cratered at: make[2]: *** No rule to make target '/usr/lib64/libImlib.so', needed by 'lib/libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so'. Stop. How did libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so get built? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

I don't think it did. Check here, this is what he did: <https://www.daniel-bauer.com/div/kuickshow_rpmbuild.txt> I understand that the process is trying to create '/usr/lib64/libImlib.so' as a prerequisite to building 'lib/libkdeinit4_kuickshow.so'. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. Can you send me the spec file? Also you should check OBS[0] if you would like to build packages. [0] https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Build_Service On 2019-07-21 13:49, Markus Koßmann wrote:

The thread has split on two. On the other half of the thread, he said he got the issue solved and how. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)
