The following packages are going to be REMOVED: avahi banshee-1 banshee-1-backend-engine-gstreamer banshee-1-backend-platform-gnome banshee-1-backend-platform-unix banshee-1-extensions-default mono-zeroconf mono-zeroconf-provider-avahi nss-mdns nss-mdns-32bit
So it removes banshee avachi and nss-mdns (zeroconf dns resolution).
yes, but in the way half of the total install (including openoffice and cups...) jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-eic8MSSfM http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1412160445 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No, it doesn't on 11.1. If you remove the client library (which does things like answer "is avahi running" then maybe, but 'avahi' is the daemon. -JP -- JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> Novell, Inc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Tried to remove avahi on 11.0/64bit last night and got a cascading dependency problem and had to give up(this needs that, that need this other, etc). Wonder when suse studio will be ready..... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, hence the 11.1 in my mail. There was a bogus dep in 11.0. -JP -- JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> Novell, Inc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
