I sent from WIN98 SE OEM. I dual boot into SuSE 7.1 here at work, but sadly I don't get much SuSE-time at this desk :( If anyone has worked with GreatPlains Dynamics, (now a Microsoft product) in WINE, or VMWARE over Linux I would be grateful for some step-by-step instructions. If this works there is the possibility of getting a M$-Free workplace, (except for Dynamics, which was only recently acquired anyway.) I've successfully gotten the Pervasive DBEngine to work on Linux/Samba, but couldn't swing the Licensing fees past the CFO and the Trial period expired. We use two other BTrieve DOS applications that I assume will be fairly straightforward to run over Linux, which could then be migrated off of the NetWare servers where they currently reside onto SuSE and Mars using the same Pervasive engine. Three servers combined into one with extra equipment for redundance, SWEET. But to get back to the original question, Yes, I did cut-n-paste from the DosBox. ________________________________ Dale Schuster MIS Manager Lake Tahoe Horizon Casino Resort dschuster@horizoncasino.com
