Hi all, I'm planning to purchase a Hush mini-ITX computer with the VIA EPIA M10000-Nehemia core. Because the VIA doesn't have an AGP slot, I plan to install a Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Pro 450 TV (PCI) GeForce4 MX 44-SE PCI 64MB DDR Video Card. Are there any problems I need to be prepared for with this setup? I'll be upgrading to SuSE 8.2 from the 7.2 I have had for past two years. Thanks in advance. Still keeping the faith, Tom , in _ usually _ sunny_ balmy Florida's First Coast. ><><>< The challenge of this moment in time is that the future is no longer wrapped up in stability and predictability. Hi, Thomas, I have very bad experience with VIA KT chipsets, they often suffer from certain glitches and artifacts. My advice - try to avoid VIA at all. The headache you might get is not worth few bucks saved. On Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at 03:19 PM, Thomas E. Beasley, Jr. wrote:

Sorry to hear you've had problems but I run 3 VIA Mini-ITX machines as dial-in and Samba servers (c/w Big Sister) and have had no problems when using any of SuSE 7.3/8.0/8.1. All hardware auto-discovered (EPIA 800 and 5000 models) correctly and uptimes of over a year. Still more run under freevix MP3 player (www.freevix.org) which is busybox-based. Damian
