Strange. I'm (still) on 2.0.1303.3, and don't have any issues with it. Could it be related to either your DE/windowmanager or the X version?

I had problems before (non-opening tabs) that must have been related to Mesa. My problems vanished after a Mesa update, without changes in vivaldi....

Your sig says nouveau. Did you have a nouveau update parallel to the latest vivaldi update?

I've not seen any updates to nouveau in the tumbleweed snapshots for quite a while, there has been some for Mesa but that didn't make a difference.
