tty1's noclear switch is probably put there, so it is possible to see the kernel and boot messages after bootup. If you don't need this, (you can get it from dmesg anyway) you should get no problems from removing the noclear from tty1. Regards Ole On Wed, 13 Jan 1999, W.D.McKinney wrote:
