[opensuse] can't set nfs4 acl's
12.2 Hi When I try to set a nfs4 ACL on a nfs4 mounted file, I always get an error even though the ACE I'm setting is legal e.g. compartida is a folder which is nfs4 mounted: nfs4_setfacl -e compartida ## Editing NFSv4 ACL for directory: /mnt/compartida A::OWNER@:rwaDxtTcCy A::GROUP@:rwaDxtcy A::EVERYONE@:tcy A:fdi:OWNER@:rwaDxtTcCy A:fdi:GROUP@:rwaDxtcy A:fdi:EVERYONE@:tcy :wq Failed setxattr operation: Operation not permitted The underlying file system is: /dev/disk/by-id/ata-Maxtor_6V200E0_V40FV13G-part2 / ext4 acl,user_xattr 1 1 and works fine with POSIX ACL's. Why are the nfs4 ACE's 'not permitted'? Thanks, L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
