I recently set up an IMAP server, with SUSE 10.1. I've found that I can create folders under the Inbox, but no sub folders. In previous versions of SUSE, I could create subfolders. What changed?

Not all IMAP servers supports mailboxes at the same level as the INBOX. For example, Cyrus-IMAP disables this feature by default, but can be enabled by using alternative namespaces.

I'm using the basic IMAP server in SUSE, same as I've always done. Any idea where the config might be? tnx

I've found the problem. I'm also using Seamonkey, which has an extra setting, when creating folders, to specify whether the folder will hold folders or messages only.
