Well, what keeps you from upgrading the X Server? XFree 3.3.2 supports this card (XF86_SVGA). You can find RPMs on our ftp-Server. Please note, that you need an _unshared_ interrupt for this card, otherwise the machine will hang on startup of X... This will be fixed in the new release. Could you please give a time frame when the new release will be available (with fix that allows shared IRQ for the nVidia Riva 128 chip)? I have a unit where all the PCI/AGP slots are in use and thus am unable to use X on this machine. According to Dirk Hohndel, the new release should be out in during the next week. You may also use the parameter "no_accel" in your Device-Section as a workaround... Or you could use an experimental Pre-Release from Dirk's homepage: <A HREF="http://www.suse.de/~hohndel/pRe/SeRvers/XF86_SVGA.gz</A">http://www.suse.de/~hohndel/pRe/SeRvers/XF86_SVGA.gz</A> Best regards, LenZ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Lenz Grimmer S.u.S.E.
