[opensuse] How to compile Qemu on openSUSE?
hi all ! compiling Qemu requires GCC 3.x, however openSUSE has only GCC 4.x, which doesn't allows me to compile Qemu. On Fedora 7 there is a gcc-34-compat package that enables me to use GCC 3 alongside GCC 4. What is the solution for openSUSE 10.2 and 10.3 ? The factory package qemu-0.9.0.cvs-28.src.rpm repository for qemu has older gcc compiler included. It is gcc-3.3.5.tar.bz2 plus all patches. You can use that to build rpm for your system. Hi ! ou can download latest build with kernel module from: ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/opensuse/repositories/home:/kraxel/openSUSE_10.2/i586 PS. If you succeed with bridging networking for KVM/QEMU, please let me know. My still does not work, incl, the one from the article found on SuSE web site.
