I don't know what i changed in my rc.config - now i can't load SuSE Help system or support database (Netscape unable to find a file or directory... - i have all on disk). And another problem is an error where starting linux: Starting service httpd syntax error in httpd.conf. All errors starting today. I don't know what i changed. I installed Gimp 1.2 without problems and it working but... Please help me. Mitja

I got the same type of error when some libraries needed for php were missing. Nothing wrong was with httpd.conf. This is only the message that rc script produces. The easiest way to check is start yast and check dependencies of the installed packages. HTH, -Kastus

i had this yesterday and traced it to the fact that I had altered hostname in yast. The actual text of httpd config had not been changed. Next question is to try and find out where the link is from what to what. HTH Francesco
