For more info on this TLD topic, I suggest anyone who wants to take a stance should go back and reread RFC920 before they do much of anything, then come chat about what was domains were intended for. There's some MIGHTY interesting clauses in there.. such as that if you have over 500 hosts, you can make a petition for your own TLD (.IBM would probably be a good example).
