[opensuse] Mobile phone no longer recognized
Hi, I just tried to connect my mobile phone to Leap 42.2 for the first time but it's no longer recognized. This worked with Leap 42.1. My phone is an Samsung S5. When I plug it in, it chimes and charges. So something happens. lsusb doesn't list it. dmesg shows nothing. journalctl shows nothing. The phone doesn't offer the options to change the USB mode. Any ideas what I could try next? Regards, -- Aaron "Optimizer" Digulla a.k.a. Philmann Dark "It's not the universe that's limited, it's our imagination. Regards,
Got one step further: Seems the USB cable is broken. With a different cable, I could connect to the phone. MTP doesn't work (dolphin gives an error "wrong parameter"; digikam noticed the device but can't show or download any images). PTP and adb work. Regards, -- Aaron "Optimizer" Digulla a.k.a.
