Is there a way to run .bat files under SuSE linux without using and Windows emulator? john
Yes Linux has a great shell, and you are able to program very nice scripts in this. Scripts in linux are often called *.sh but only look for mode permissions, or you can use the shell direct with sh ./"file.sh" Read more in the man sh, csh, ksh, bash and so on. /tage ******************************************** -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: John N. yes, most definitely. Use dosemu, another emulator but for dos. IIWM, I could convert the dos .bat files to bash scripts. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos
