I looked in the manual and it suggested that the second CD could be used for older style installs and, guess what, it does ... a simple case of RTFM (duh!)
OTOH ... Apparently not ... it only looked like it was booting correctly, in fact it was booting into my old Suse 8.0 O/S ... huh? HELP!!!!! James C. Rocks Equant Archway House Canary Wharf London E14 9SZ

I would thnk you forgot to select the right option. Booting into an installed OS is _onw_ of the thigns the older installer used to do; it shoudl also enable you to start the installatoin system, in manual mode if nothign else. Did you try that? BTW, What is an Equant? I'm curious. - -- - ---------------------------------------------------- Jonathan Wilson System Administrator Cedar Creek Software http://www.cedarcreeksoftware.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+LFACQ5u80xXOLBcRAmdVAKCGOWCocMpTlJq8gytxZ82gQP4B6gCdEgoa DIrAurkHfQab3YPGqKRP1YE= =mnhP -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
