When a new user is created, an .xinitrc file is (I believe) installed in the user's home directory. Where is the file that's copied to provide the local .xinitrc file?
Probably with the othe default files ins /etc/skel
And as a user, is it better to modify the .xinitrc file in your home directory or to use some other file (.xinitrc.local, mebbe?) to implement your local changes?
