I have the same printer and found a product called Turboprint for Linux (www.turboprint.de) that gives perfect photo-quality printouts from the GIMP as well as ordinary output from Kword. p.s. How do you cancel a print job. Sometimes I choose a wrong setting and I get page after page of garbage, with no way to stop it (even after a reboot it continues)?
