Hi; I have an epson stylus photo 700. Yast 2 has drivers for that model, but no matter what setting I choose the print quality is awful. Has anyone else had problems with this make of printer in SuSE 7.2? Is it better to turn to cups rather than yast2? p.s. How do you cancel a print job. Sometimes I choose a wrong setting and I get page after page of garbage, with no way to stop it (even after a reboot it continues)? -- ---------- Darren Harmon http://users.breathemail.net//darren.harmon1/
I have the same printer and found a product called Turboprint for Linux (www.turboprint.de) that gives perfect photo-quality printouts from the GIMP as well as ordinary output from Kword. It supports a large range of other printers as well. There is a free demo, but Turboprint itself isn't very expensive. Arthur On Friday 31 August 2001 00:42, Darren Harmon wrote:
