You did issue 'restart' not 'stop' if that was your intention. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Correct. "restart" stops the segfaults for ~10 minutes and then they resume. I did stop "Nepomuk Desktop File Indexer" to stop filling disk space with log entries. I will periodically after updates resume indexing to test viability. It appears merely suspending the action halts the segfaults (that tidbit *might* be relevant). tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Bit the bullet and preliminary report, situation corrected. I removed ~/.local/share/akonadi and ~/.config/akonadi after stopping akonadiserver. Will report success or failure in the am, too late to stay at the keyboard.

Wrong, problem not solved but minimized and that may just be happenstance :^( -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
