Hi, I have modem 'Rockwell International HCF 56k PCI Speakerphone Modem'. I used the hcfpci driver version 0.99lnxtbeta03042700 with SuSE 9.0 on 2.4 kernel. I want to use my modem in SuSE 9.2 too, but I can't compile the kernel modules. I have installed kernel header files with complete kernel sources. The error part of the hcfpciconfig script's output follows. Please, is it possible to use this driver with 2.6 kernels? If not, which other driver could I use? Thank you very much. ------------------ The hcfpciconfig output: This package does not contain pre-built modules suitable for your system: Distribution: SuSE-9.2 Kernel arch: i686 Kernel version: linux-2.6.8-24-default Trying to automatically re-compile the modules.. Go to www.linuxant.com and you should find the correct driver - but it will cost you $US15. Cheers. -- "The absence of alternatives clears the mind marvellously."
