this is strange when i went to use mc i noticed this text on the command line where did this come from load_client_codepage: filename /usr/lib/samba/codepages/codepage.850 does not exist.

And, does that file really exist? If not, install it. It should be in samba-client.rpm, but you can searh for it with pin. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
