Hi, all. I have been trying to update my SuSE 6.3 system using various methods of ftp... gftp, ncftp, ftp, etc. The problem is that at any of the sites that carry version 6.3, or the updates, I cannot 'ls', 'dir', or 'get'. I can 'cd' if I already know the path, but that's it. Anything else gets me a warning 'Illegal Port Command'. I have emailed the ftpadmin at the sites, but have received no response. I am wondering, is anyone else haveing these problems, or is it just me?
