Let me, or us, know if everything works out. I've upgraded before and never had a serious problem, but this is quite a jump! Thanks, Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

I have been running 1.3.92 since it was put on u-l-b, and now 1.4.0 for most of the day. Spell check works, syncing with Handspring works, the Gtk2 interface is excellent. Well worth upgrading to. I would encourage everyone to upgrade. Many many thanks to James Ogley for providing these RPM's. :) -- Anders Karlsson <anders@trudheim.com> Trudheim Technology Limited

Speaking of Handspring...I have a Tungsten...any idea how to get bluetooth to work and use it to hotsync? Tom -- Tom Nielsen Neuro Logic Systems 805.389.5435 x18 www.neuro-logic.com

Well, I am sure you can do that as Bluetooth will turn up as a serial port, more or less. Have a gander at this URL, http://www.marlow.dk/?target=dell_d600 and see if the part about Bluetooth there is of any help. I managed to get my mobile phone, Ericsson T68m, to work with this, and I managed to dial out from the laptop over Bluetooth, so yeah, synchronising over it should be easy. If you get stuck, I can dig through my config for specific things, but as I do not have a Tungsten, I can not give you a description of a fully working cfg to play with. Thanks to James again for his excellent work. I upgraded to Evo 1.4 and so far everything that was working is still doing so. Richard

Just like 1.3.92, trying to drag a message to another folder crashes evolution. Anyone else having this problem? Ken

Just tried that on Evo 1.4.0 and I am not seeing this problem. As James said, did you update other packages around Evo as well? HTH, -- Anders Karlsson <anders@trudheim.com> Trudheim Technology Limited

I am using Gnome, so GnomePilot takes care of the synchronising for me. Not a great deal needed doing, I looked at my JPilot settings, copied some of the over into the GnomePilot settings applet, synchronised and was happy. :) HTH, -- Anders Karlsson <anders@trudheim.com> Trudheim Technology Limited

Thanks Anders. I was having trouble getting my handspring to sync with Evolution1.4 but I am using KDE. I tried the kpilot sync and everything went ok. Guess I should either install Gnome or get used to using the pda with kpilot. Thanks again, Richard

I upgraded to 1.3.96 and lost the ability to drag and drop the messages across folders. Hope it's fixed in 1.4. Ken
