[opensuse] Something wrong with the list?
I haven't received *anything* from the list in 3 days now. Is anyone else having the same problem? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

No, I've been seeing plenty of list traffic, including yours. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Seems there might be a problem as a reply I sent to the list earlier still hasn't reached the list. :( Hylton -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Did you remember that it works differently than most other lists, and you need to "reply to all" (thus sending two messages) in order to make sure that the list is included? Many times I've replied to just the original message author when I thought I was participating in an open conversation. Perhaps your reply actually did get to the original correspondent? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You can "reply to all" but need to delete all but the list address. No one wants/expects duplicate messages "unless specifically requested!" And I refuse to restart the debate, err -argument, that the list works differently than *most* other lists. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Indeed, or "reply" and then change the recipient's address to the list address. Both are a little more trouble than should be necessary, but they do work.

No one has asked you to. I just pointed out to someone the most likely reason why he didn't see his reply on the list. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
