I recall someone having to switch from Linux to Windows simply because he had to use a feature of Word that OpenOffice didn't have. It was all a big deal because he was a big player or something, I don't quite recall. Had Word been ported to Linux, I'm sure he would have stuck with Linux (maybe he will switch back if this isn't vaporware), so for some, it is a big deal. Well, M$ can port it to Linux all day long, but as long as they charge gobs of money for their crap, OpenOffice will be the preferred suite of choice. It's free, is very compatable to M$ products and has no licensing fees.
