Now that OO 3.0 has released, why isn't their an upgrade from the openSUSE OO repository?
Does openSUSE use OO? It thought it used Go-OO (http://go-oo.org/) which hasn't reached version 3 yet.
They do - and as stated, go-oo hasn't released version 3.0 (stable) yet - There might be some first builds in an UNSTABLE repo, but I don't know.
I asked them in their irc channel on freenode and they said we'd have to wait for max. 2-3 weeks.
Greetings Michael
I've been using UNSTABLE version 3.0.0.1 for a while now (updated yesterday to 3.0.0.3.4), seems stable enough for my work at the moment.
I was looking for a 64-bit version and didn't see it.
Hmmm... am I misunderstanding you? I am using the 64-bit version of OpenOffice 3.0.0.3.4 from the UNSTABLE repository. Assuming you are using openSuSE 11, the repository is: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/UNSTABLE/openSUSE_...
