[S.u.S.E. Linux] You can never have too many unices on your box
Openbsd 2.3 was released yesterday, and I've been leaning toward trying one of the free bsd's. Do *bsd's coexist painlessly with linux? Can I use lilo to access Openbsd or will I need to boot it from a floppy? If anyone has used Free/Net/Openbsd in conjunction with linux I would appreciate your response. -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
The compiler is unable to find the file: ys/select.h I am on SuSE 5.2. I have already successfully compiled vim-5.1 on Red Hat 5.0 on the same box. According to Red Hat, sys/select.h is part of the package glibc-devel-2.0.7-7, but the docs do not say anything restricting vim-5.1 to glibc. Yes, I did begin my compile with make clean Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I like the syntax colors of vim-5.1 and I would like to convert from RH5.0 to SuSE.
