Hi: I installed Realplayer 8. for Linux, on my SuSE 7.1 box a while back. I installed it with YAST1 and it works perfectly. I heard that Realplayer is a web spider of sorts. That is, it streams info about your box back to Real.com. Is this true? Also if I have all the updates installed on my box do they inhibit RealPlayer from being a Security risk? -- Cheers, Jonathan
Has anyone tried installing v.7.1 (DVD) on a Compaq Armada 7800? I found the Compaq Article, regarding a linux install on the 7400/7800, but it's an outdated article. thx, Michael ----- Give a man a fish.... .. and he'll eat for a day. You do not need to try, just install! But do not select to erase the disk, because you will loose the system configuration partition. That's it.. But better plan ahead and think what you want to do like dualbooting or just linux etc. BB, Arjen P.S. Answers will be give on monday.. my weekend starts NOW!
It is an option that you can turn off during the install or from the preferences menu options. JLK On Thursday 29 March 2001 23:13, Jonathan Drews wrote:
