RE: [SLE] RE: [suse-linux-e] MS Exchange and Outlook
Can Ben Rosenberg and all those others who keep complaining about the so-called Non-OS Windows be deleted from this list??? I joined this list to learn more about Linux, not to learn about things that Windows does or doesn't or does better or thinks it can do better! Please?? "This message was sent from a Windows 95 box, through a Windows NT box to your inbox ;)" And you can read it, huh Greetinx Hans Bouwers -----Original Message----- From: Ben Rosenberg [SMTP:dragula@primary.net] Sent: woensdag 28 juli 1999 13:38 Cc: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: Re: [SLE] RE: [suse-linux-e] MS Exchange and Outlook Greetings, Well, all I have to say about this subject is that after all the bashing I have received over the years from M$centric people " why don't you use a real OS or Can't you understand Windows or why don't you get into the 90's dude..commandline is out " I have come to the conclusion that when one is in a group such as this that should be free of the crap that Windows users spew out .. I believe I can say whatever I wish about the bloated, over priced crap that M$ puts out. I do know M$ software quite well and I don't like it. I gave up on it for a reason...the mindset of most Windows users I run into is very low they don't even know their OS, yet they will tell you what you should do cause they read it in PCWeek. Anyway, that's just my 0.02...and No I won't run anti-virus software to protect the Windows users who don't scan their drives anyway. :P

I would like you not to make a personal attack on me, I have not seen you very much on this list and for you to ask I be deleted shows extreme gaul. I don't care to be made an example of and I joined this list to discuss SuSE Linux, I enjoy Linux very much, and If I want to leave the damn Windows world which I am forced to interact with every day for a discussion about Linux then so be it. I am not a " zealot " for Linux, but instead I am just a plain advocate of Unix. We have a topic called SuSE Linux an sometimes people need help with integrating their Unix boxes and their Windows box..fine that is acceptable. When someone says that we should stop bashing M$ on our private yet public list on a topic that we hold dear to our hearts then you can just go to hell ..got that... We get made fun of everyday from Windows users who know very little if anything about Unix/Linux and have to put up with extremely insensitive and bold comments from them. I will make jabs at any other OS that is not in the topic of this list. I don't do it very often, but when someone tells me I can not and they are not the moderators of this list, then I get a bit pissed off. I don't join Windows NT lists and ask a bunch of Linux questions and I would expect to get a little fun poked at me and flamed more then once if I did do this. Please do not make bold assumptions about what mean, what I do..or what I think..and if you want to send you mail to this list from whatever client you like..so be it..who gives a damn. If you want to learn about Linux then shut up and learn. You jump up and put my name forward as a complainer and that is just rude. more then my 0.02
