Linux Printer Sharing Solved
From: "Bryan S. Tyson"
you must list the machines in /etc/hosts.equiv or /etc/hosts.lpd. You must do this on the SUSE Box. If I have stated the obvious, no offense intended.
Now why would I be offended when I just printed my first page, thanks to you! My /etc/hosts.lpd had nothing in it. When I added the Caldera box, it was able to print to the SuSE box! Thank you for your advice! Thanks also to everyone who commented. I learned a lot from everyone's posts, and I intend to study them more when I am able to get back into this on Monday. *************************************************** Powered by SuSE Linux 7.0 Professional KMail 1.0.29.2 Bryan S.
