That's probably a pretty big question, but one I could really appreciate some help with.
I guess I'm looking for a recommendation of a "best buy" in this area, and it's not something I've had a lot of experience with. In my work, and at home, I've always had computers that simply came with adequate graphics cards to start with, so I've never been in the market before. What's a good card that Linux will find easy to work with?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
for a best buy for a non-gamer is intel graphic cards, they cost less than geforce and (the evil) ATI, they are pretty good with 3d and composite desktops, and they come supported out of the box, what more could you ask for? i have a 915G, and my friend got a 945G and no complains either, i recommend the former of course, good luck!
