-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Using the Mozilla 1.7.12 of the SuSE 9.3 install, when viewing a pdf file with the plugin, I do not have any of the acroread features: no icon bar, no context menu. I can not zoom into a page, can not search, select text, go to a random page in the file... the file shows alright, but I have no control. In fact, if I resize the mozilla window, it breaks, the pdf view window inside does not resize. My alternative is to force it to open with acrobat in another independent window. Looking with "ps afx" I see it is using the bonobo plugin: 20994 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/bin/mozilla 21000 ? Sl 0:11 \_ /opt/mozilla/lib/mozilla-bin 21022 ? S 0:00 \_ mozilla-bonobo-viewer http://nimrodel.valinor/local/www.local/docs/firewall2-a4-0-9.pdf applicatiion/pdf 25165825 which in turn is calling "/opt/gnome/lib/gpdf/gnome-pdf-viewer". How can I disable it, to use instead the "nppdf.so" plugin? I don't want to disable the bonobo plugin entirely, only the pdf part. In "about:plugins" I can see it is enabled, but clicking in "yes" does not change it to "no". Perhaps I'm being naive O:-) I tried editing "/etc/opt/gnome/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/schemas/apps/mozilla-bonobo/mime-types": it works (the nppdf.so plugin takes precedence), but it seems a complicated way, there must be a way using mozilla itself, no? - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFDms6WtTMYHG2NR9URAiuGAKCG+p/oHaPQewGXFouK/fgwdgk3sgCbB1M7 CT70pw00i45ghjF0eFnJA9Y= =aJmo -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
