Javascript in Konqueror 2.2.2 simply does not work on three different SuSE 7.3 systems of mine. I have the latest KDE from SuSE's web site (files dated Dec 6). I *think* Javascript was working OK with the KDE version (2.2.1?) that shipped with SuSE 7.3. Does anyone else see this problem? Here is an example web site: http://finance.lycos.com Try clicking on the tabs at the top of the financial chart near the upper left side of the web page. These are the tabs to switch the display from NASDAQ to DJIA to SP500. This is just an example -- I see the same thing wherever Javascript is used. -- ____________________________________________________________________ Robert Paulsen paulsen@texas.net

Which version of KDE do you have installed? I forgot to menion in my previous note that I do indeed have Javascript enabled in the Konqueror configuration panel. -- ____________________________________________________________________ Robert Paulsen paulsen@texas.net

2.2.2, as I said above.
# rpm -qf /opt/kde2/bin/konqueror kdebase-2.2.2-8
Mine's also the -8 release -- that's what I meant to ask about. Perhaps someone else will *not* have the problem and have a different release installed. -- ____________________________________________________________________ Robert Paulsen paulsen@texas.net

Hi: SuSE7.1Pro Konqueror 1.9.8 KDE 2.0.1 Works ok. And that's in spite of my best efforts, being a newbie. <grin> HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Tom P.S. One thing I noticed, is the extraordinary length of time from click to change in display, if that helps.
