Hi I downloaded the suse 9.0 live cd and it's great (I plan to upgrade to suse 9.0 from suse 7.3) But the old configure KPPP is still a problem. Is there a HOW TO on using dial-up to get on the internet or a HOW TO on winmodems and linux? I never really solved this problem before (I mainly use the internet at work), though, I know the issues involved. I know the Knoppix Forum has a solution, I don't know if it would applicable for suse 9.0. I try to gooogle the archives of suse-linux-e and came up with nothing satisfying. Some help would be appreciated.

There is a HOWTO called Linmodem-HOWTO. If it's not in /usr/share/doc, get it at your local mirror of www.tldp.org. -- Vic Ayres
