OpenSuSSE 11.2 on AMD 64 bit CPU. I am having a problem installing a new, bare bones, sound card. Yast identifies it as a Solo-1 Audio Adapter, as does Hardware Information. Unfortunately, when I attempt to configure the sound card I get an error message: "The kernel module snd-es1938 for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters." I installed the default kernel. Oh yes, I get a brief burst of white noise from my speakers when the system is booten and shut down. Assistance will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
