i am having more and more trouble with wine. i know there was someone somewhere tht had mentioned it, but i am having problems getting it to run. it says that it will use the default .conf file in /etc but then it outputs some error on it not being able to load.

I don't know exactly what's wrong, but it's something. ;-) Wine is alpha software. It doesn't work correctly and anyone trying it has to know what they are doing.
