[opensuse] Farewell commands totally messed up

Hi all, I have this problem for some time, and now I decided to try to fix it. I have a Lenovo G505 laptop with oS 13.2 and KDE 4.14.9. I have UEFI and secure boot. There are two users: my wife and me. Logging out from the session is e.g to change users, is totally impossible in the normal way. When I am the active user, and right click on the table to log out, the system gets suspended/hibernated/locked up. I cannot decide since suspension and hibernation never really worked on this machine. They seemingly work, but the system cannot wake up. When my wife tries to logout, the system shuts down cleanly instead. I have no idea where to begin. Any hints out there? I'm not sure if i am understanding your situation correctly but in "Configure Desktop/Startup and Shutdown/Session Management" you can configure the options for exiting a session. i use the "Lock/Logout" widget (added to the taskbar) instead of the menu options to logout and i set what options i want on its menu via this program -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I did it, and the result is what I told i use the "Lock/Logout" widget (added to the taskbar)

Tried it, to no avail. But at least in Lancelot the change users option works. I cannot imagine how command could mix up -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
