Hello All, Gaim stopped working after upgrading gnome on my system. This is the gnome source I am using: http://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/yast... Has anyone else experienced this? If so, can you help me fix it? Thank you. Jason

I'm using the latest packages from supplementary (well, excluding some held-back by APT until I get around to doing some usr-local-bin updates - sorry guys) and I've had no problem Can you run gaim from a command prompt and post the output? -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Make Poverty History: http://makepovertyhistory.org

Yes, with this version and the previous version. Gaim starts but refuses to login to any of my accounts. Pascal Bleser's packages (suser-guru APT respository), which are version 1.5.0-8, work properly. http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/

Yeah, that'll be it - I'm using Pascal's packages too :) Remember that a complete and up-to-date SUSE system includes the Packman, Guru, usr-local-bin, etc repositories as well as the SUSE-supplied ones. :) -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Make Poverty History: http://makepovertyhistory.org
