[opensuse] Cannot login to KDE 4.11.2
Hi all, Today I tried to upgrade to KDE 4.11.2 from 4.10.5. All went smooth, but I cannot login back to KDE. There is no problem with Xfce login. I removed .kde and .kde4 directories, but to no avail. Any hints are welcome. I have oS 12.2 installed. Earlier there was no problem on 12.3 on another box. Perhaps a little more diagnostic information would gain you more assistance. You've given us nothing to go on. Try tailing /var/log/messages in a shell or something. Try tailing /var/log/messages in a shell or something. Try running startked in a shell. post some messages. Also, looking at the contents of your ~/.xsession-errors is often a good starting point.

At the login screen/menu click on the (?)spanner (at the bottom, next to the 'Logout' icon) and select 'KDE plasma' desktop.
